When you mention French Pinot Noir most folks naturally think BURGUNDY!
Yes, it's true red burgundy is made exclusively from the pinot noir grape, but most don't realize that other regions of France can and do make wine from this ancient, indigenous varietal. I have chosen a selection of delicious examples of French pinot noir grown and produced outside of the Burgundy appellation and look forward to introducing you to these little known gems. We will also talk about the history of pinot noir in France and why it consistently fetches the highest prices in the wine world! These wines will be paired with a complementing three course tasting menu. Please join me for a fun and informative evening. Six Wine, Three Course Menu. Cost: $110 per person plus gratuity.
