All classes are 5:30–8:30 pm, unless stated otherwise.
We are so excited to announce that we have scheduled three Cooking Classes for this summer. Chef Chris Thielman and his wife, Karen, (Full bio here) will be instructing three classes this summer centered on French cuisine, wine and culture. Along with instruction, the class will be peppered with personal experiences from their extensive travel in France. Chef Chris is a 32 year instructor at the College of DuPage Culinary Arts Program. Karen is the recipient of the Chevalier dans l'Ordre des Palmes Academiques from the government of France as well as a Certified specialist of Wines with the Society of Wine Educators.
All Classes will end around the table with a tasting of the food prepared and wines specifically chosen to go with the food prepared. And, of course, convivial conversation about our French adventures experienced or yet to come. This innovative menu includes: Fougasse with herbs and garlic; Black olive tapenade; Provençal vegetable tian; and Grilled gambas with aioli. We hope you'll join us for an evening in Provence. $100 per person plus gratuity. (NOTE: The Normandy class is sold out.)

Undiscovered Spanish Wines, Spain's Hidden GemsInstructor: Anton Maletic
Many folks have become familiar with many of the wonderful wines hailing from Spain these days. Cava, Rioja and Albariño have become pretty common on wine lists across the country. And for good reason! They are world class, delicious and affordable quaffs. But have you ever sipped a Jumilla from Mercia? How about a Priorat from Catalonia, or maybe a Godello from Galicia? At this class you will have the opportunity to sample these and some of Spain’s other hidden gems. Join us for an evening of six exquisite Iberian wines paired with a four course dinner and experience a little history about the region, it’s wines and it’s cuisine. $125 per person plus gratuity.
