Austrian wines are considered by many to be one of the best-kept secrets in Europe. For the last few decades it has been very much in the shadow of neighbors Germany and Italy when it comes to recognition for its wines. But Austria has an incredibly long and fruitful history of winemaking, with evidence suggesting that vines were in existence there more than 60 million years ago. Their wines were also cultivated by the Celts and the Romans.

We will be tasting four whites, one sparkling and one red from this elusive region. A delicious four course menu showcasing the tremendous quality and versatility of Austrian wines will be prepared.

Cost: $150 per person plus gratuity. If you enjoy your meal service, a tip for the server after the class is always appreciated.
